Victoria Point Foyer
Located in an elegant 1970s brick building in Potts Point, Atoma Design envisaged a conceptual timber ribbon for the refurbishment of the Victoria Point Foyer.
Bringing warmth and a softness to the entry space, the ribbon is composed of a series of curved walls with dome shaped timber batten cladding. The curvature seamlessly guides residents through the foyer, tying the areas together into one cohesive space.
The fluidity of the walls acts as a way-finding device and the honey tones radiate a sense of tranquility for residents.
The elevated white-washed timber screen forms a grand reception and highlights the double-height light filled space. The projected curve of the screen accompanied by a curved ottoman at ground level is a place to meet your neighbours or for a moment to pause.
Timber battens, carved into dome shapes line the walls creating a contemporary, inviting and timeless refresh of the foyer.
