Atoma design were engaged by Fink Restaurants to bring a Mediterranean concept restaurant to life in the Surry Hills Development by Toga.

The Oculus, a large garden courtyard, is open to the sky with a large retractable roof and reflects a Mediterranean seasonal produce selection. Crape Myrtles, Ginkgo Biloba and Olive Trees surround the Oculus at varying levels.

In the interior, a natural colour scheme and materials reflect the Oculus garden and the seasonality of produce.

A playful petal canopy radiates from the centre of the oculus and sits over the indoor seating, a connection to the garden and courtyard.

A semicircle of sliding doors open the interior to the courtyard, and create and indoor/outdoor dining experience.
