Three Blue Ducks
The concept for the new bar and dining experience at Three Blue Ducks Rosebery was to design a new architectural form that creates definition in the space whilst responding to the existing industrial setting.
The use of new angular forms, LED lighting and display shelves define the new bar and dining area. The material concept has been derived from, and speaks to its existing industrial context by using materials such as concrete compressed fibre cement panels, warm spotted gum timber bar tops and joinery and reinforcement steel mesh to the new bar fronts.
By using a contrast of new architectural forms and existing materials from the space, a bar is created that stands out on its own but is very much still a part of the existing fabric.
